Clearance Process

Four stages, and you are told when each one closes

Most of the days lost in a clearance are lost between these stages, waiting for somebody to notice. Every stage below is stamped and visible on your tracking page.

01

Documents & classification

Your invoice, packing list and bill of lading are reconciled against each other, and the goods classified to the HS code that will assess.

02

Declaration filed

The Bill of Entry or Export goes into the automated customs system with every supporting document attached the first time.

03

Assessment & duty

We answer valuation and classification queries in person, attend any physical inspection, and settle duty, VAT and AIT.

04

Release & delivery

Port charges paid, delivery order collected from the line, and a vehicle at the gate inside the DO validity.

The ten stamps on your tracking page

Each one is recorded with a date and a note as it completes. Nothing is inferred and nothing is backdated.
