Know your landed cost before you order.

The HS code assigned to your goods decides the duty, the VAT, the regulatory duty and whether a permit is needed at all. A wrong code is not a technicality: it is either an overpayment you never notice, or a penalty and a seizure you very much do.

We classify from specifications and photographs, tell you the total tax incidence before you place the order, and flag any BSTI, radiation, or ministry permission the code triggers — while there is still time to plan for it.

What you get

  • A written classification opinion you can put in front of your bank
  • Landed cost known before the order is placed
  • Permit requirements found early, not at the port

How it runs

  1. Specification review

We read the datasheet and, where it matters, ask the supplier the question customs will ask.

  2. Classification

The code is assigned against the tariff schedule and the relevant explanatory notes.

  3. Total tax incidence

Customs duty, VAT, supplementary duty, regulatory duty and AIT are added up into one landed figure.

  4. Permit check

Any certification the code triggers is identified while there is still time to obtain it.

Questions we get asked

We check it. A supplier codes for their own export tariff, which is frequently not the code that assesses in Bangladesh.

Tell us what is shipping. We will tell you what it costs to clear.

Four questions about your consignment and you get an indicative breakdown of our charges and the duty to expect — before you speak to anyone.
